🌐 Zi Community Guidelines

Effective Date: June 4, 2025

At Zi, we’re all about challenges, creativity, and good vibes. To make sure the platform stays safe, fun, and fair, these Community Guidelines set clear expectations for behavior and content. If you break these rules, your content may be removed, and your account could be suspended or terminated.

Be respectful. Be real. Be creative. No hate, nudity, violence, or cheating.

1. Age Requirement

Zi is only for users 16 years and older. If you're younger, don’t use the app.

2. Respectful Behavior

You may not:

  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users
  • Use slurs or discriminatory language (race, gender, sexuality, religion, etc.)
  • Impersonate someone else or create fake accounts

3. No Harmful or Unsafe Content

You may not post content that includes:

  • Graphic violence or gore
  • Self-harm, suicide promotion, or eating disorder content
  • Dangerous stunts that could lead to serious injury

4. No Sexual or NSFW Content

You may not:

  • Post sexually explicit, nude, or pornographic videos
  • Use filters or edits to simulate nudity or sex acts
  • Share sexually suggestive content involving minors (this will be reported)

5. No Illegal Activities

  • Do not promote or participate in drug use, underage drinking, weapons, or any illegal behavior
  • Do not organize or incite violence

6. Intellectual Property

  • Only upload content you created or have rights to
  • Do not repost others’ content without permission
  • No use of copyrighted music or material unless it’s your own

7. Spam, Bots, and Exploits

  • Don’t use fake engagement tools, bots, or scripts
  • Don’t create, deploy or use manual, semi-automated or fully automated engagement systems (e.g., comment farms)
  • Don’t cheat the point or payout system (e.g., comment just for the sake of points earned)
  • Don’t share misleading links or scams

8. Reporting & Moderation

  • Use the in-app tools to report or block harmful users or content
  • Reported content is reviewed by human and automated systems
  • Repeat offenders may be permanently banned

9. Enforcement

We may:

  • Remove content without warning
  • Shadowban, suspend, or delete accounts
  • Withhold payouts from accounts that violate rules

10. Appeals

If your content or account is removed and you believe it was a mistake, email moderation@zi.social to appeal. Include your username and relevant context.

11. Changes

These guidelines may evolve over time. Major changes will be shared via the app.
