How to delete your Zi account

You can delete your Zi account at any time from within the app:

1. Open Zi
2. Go to Profile
3. Tap Settings
4. Select Account Information
5. Tap Delete account and follow the on-screen steps

Note: You can recover your account within 7 days of deletion by logging in with your credentials (username + password).

If you can’t access the app

Email us at privacy@zi.social with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include the username and email address / phone number associated with your account. We’ll process your request and confirm when deletion is completed.

What will be deleted

• Your account profile and user-generated content (e.g., video posts, comments) will be deleted or anonymized.
• Chat messages are internally stored for 30 days for legal / safety purposes.

Timeline

• Account deletion from within the app is immediate.
• Deletion requests via email are typically completed within 30 days.
